Content & Picture DVD
Hi All

Just to let you know that we have changed our site around a bit and we will now be offering free downloads as of today.

All content on our site will only be availble for download from us It will not be on the DLS.

Pop over when you have a minute

www.kj-trains.co.uk

Will be puting more content on over the next few months (all FREE)

thank you

Hi, your site in parts is ok. But it is basically the same as when you first told us about it a few weeks ago. If you have new content to download where is it? And you may have a bag of qualifications but your spelling leaves a lot to be desired. I am sorry if I seem negative; I do know how much work a new site entails and I do wish you well.

Hi

Thank you for your comments

First as stated we have changed the site around a bit we have not fully developed a new one

I have now corrected the 5 spelling mistakes on the site thank you for pointing out my spelling errors someone like me who has this bag of qualifications should not be making any mistakes.

As regards downnloads I did not say in my original post that it was NEW content. I said that we would be adding content over the next few months You need to click on the FREEWARE TRS2006 on the left site navigation bar to access the page.

All of us have had to start somewhere and you then build on your skills as time passes.

Thank you for your comments RRSIGNAL have you any interesting pictures you would like to put forward?

I was going to load onto our site more content for you all to download but yet again CM has screwed up so cannot get the files converted to CDP. Will work over the weekend to sort it out

Thank You

Hi, if you have to use pictures on your web site like your home page's header picture, you have to do one of two things. When taking screen shots for these make sure "anti aliasing" is fully enabled in your video card's options or you will get these "zaggies" you have on the header picture.

Or if your video card can not do this satisfactorily, take a screen shot with the tracks and content on it as a very horizontal screen shot, thereby avoiding these "zaggies", if you know what I mean.

The other item I would like you to consider is this, only "spruik" (promote) your web site if you have really something substantial or special to show or to download. After all, that is what you would like to promote and to make your web site famous for. If you have "Mickey Mouse" content on it, people will not have a second look again.

Don't take my pointing out the above too harsh, this is meant to be a constructive criticism, after all everyone needs to start somewhere. Also have a look how other good looking web sites look and get a "sort of" similar look for your web site or web pages to make this professional looking. There are plenty of free good looking templates for web pages on the internet to be found, google for these and you will see for yourself.

Or if you really want to build your own web site yourself, again look at some good looking professional web sites and emulate the looks of these for your own. This is not too hard to do. You will get satisfaction out of doing so, you will learn proper HTML coding and will possible importing java applets, flash content etc. into your web pages for a really good looking web site. Also use a web site building/creating program that has an build in spell checker to avoid the mistakes of your first and redone second web site.

Isn't this what you really wanted in the first place?

Just my observations .

I have only one rule: Nothing I create, nor any derivative works by others, can use copy-protection, DRM or "activation" schemes. That means, but is not limited to: No encryption, no phoning home, no add-in verification programs, no "licenses" or authentication, etc. So if your DVD will be copy-protected in any way, this wouldn't work.

Beyond that you or anyone is free to use my content, derivatives of such, and even create payware products from my stuff, just as long as I get credit somewhere. I'm not sure when I'm going to release my mini-route, but those rules will apply, as well any of the other stuff I'm burning up my brain learning Blender to make.

I have some pics here. If you want higher-res, let me know.

Oh, here are two links to two extra screenies, with a missing object re-added in the rec center. I didn't want to post them as embedded images as it's not really appropriate to this forum.
