Keeps crashing to the desktop

Working on new layout. I save my work, normally, about every half hour. But now, with only a mountain built and some track laid, when opening my last save, I get a crash to the desktop. Then, if I go back to the previous save, that one will open. I have tried saving every 5-10 minutes, but still have the same problem. I have run an extended data base many times. I don't know what else to do.

Two options to try; make a clone and remove the last item added or edited. Keep removing items until you can get it to start saving again. Otherwise, make a new route, simple and not complex, see if the save bug crashing to desktop still happens.

Thanks for the reply. But basically, all I was doing was leveling or grading the ground. The ONLY thing that is on the layout is track.....and only one kind of track. And I have used this track many times.

I keep wondering if it has anything to do with the 3 Win11 updates that came through over the last 4 days.

Try moving the shaders to Basic and see if anything changes.

I am building this layout right now.....everything is at the minimum.
