What a sleek looking MARC model! I love it.
Trying something a little different, I've added a loop or lollipop to each end of a couple of my switching routes so as to be able to run a train more or less unattended back and forth through the layout. Just to watch trains without the tedium of flat switching...
That Nash in the foreground (DLS) is terrific. Great seeing orphan makes as they were still quite popular at this time. Even my own father had a Packard, a Henry J, and a '49 Desoto at different times in the '50s. Heck, in '58 we drove from New York to Boston in a rented Edsel.
