Just not my week

I have had little or no trouble with Trainz from Ultimate to TR2010 until this week when I decided to take advantage of the sale and upgrade to TR2012 and downloaded it together with 'Fleet of Modernism'!

As in my earlier post this week I just shredded my TR2010 when I installed 'Fleet of Modernism' so I decided to download and install TR2012..... Wrong - it appears that my list of downloads does not include the last two files and the download counter is haywire! I now await the attentions of the Help Desk!

Ah me - whatever else Trainz does it teaches patience - sometimes it can be a Zen exercise - Too serious to be a game and not serious enough to be a profession!

I am now going to re-install TR 2010 - anyone know the files to save to keep your own content?

Anyone else out there the same?

Sadly, Old_Bill (I should live so long!)

Should have run an EDR after adding the new add-on, try that before installing it again and let it finish, any problems post again as it still may not need a reinstall.

Content is in the Userdata local and original folders, save the Userdata folder and just import that using the import content option in content manager.

Thanks Malc, I did run an EDR and I did see it thru. It rained all day yesterday (Sunday) so I uninstalled TR2010 and reinstalled it from disk thru to patch 49933 which I believe is the latest available. After running a full EDR I then installed "Fleet of Modernism" ran another EDR, to my surprise .... I checked Content Manager - all there no prob's - Rail Yard, again can view no problems - but when I opened Surveyor and clicked on the Trains Tab no sign of any of the Fleet of Modernism rolling stock at all?

Have I missed a patch I cannot figure this out at all - has anyone any ideas please?

Being new to TS10 I too found that locos wern't showing up, but there is a tab that changes search filters in surveyor, and the locos will then show up. For some reason they are hidden when viewing in another search filter.

There is a little tiny button just to the Right of the type in seach box, hit that, and another drop bown box appears. Get rid if the other search filters, and create a new search filter, NAME, and Re-name it NAME.

I bought 50 locos, originally $ 218.60 at regular price, at the Simulator Central sale for $ 54.70
