Just Got Trainz Simulator 12!

What do you guys think about it? What are some pros and cons? Are there any BN locomotives?

You'll have fun. The AI is a bit better than in the other versions, the signals work better, the graphics are much better than TS2009 ever was.

There are a few bugs that need working out such as merging routes together at the moment.

A couple of other notes:

Firstly, faulty content will not work in TS12, period.

Also be aware that if you use the older non-speedtree types, they will look bad with no way of correcting it.

I have had TS12 for about 5 months and love it. Runs smooth, good graphics, good physics and tons of freeware available. Wouldn't have any other train sim.

That is not true!period.



I don't know why you didn't add that most faulty content can be upgraded and fixed.

Ive had TRZ12 for only a few weeks and I upgraded whole 2004 layouts!
2004 payware engines, scenery objects.

Very good choice TS12 and don't forget to patch.
Yes many faulty items can be fiixed but not all, other problem is when you fix it you have to manage them to keep them updated sort off as long as the original ceator did not do that for whatever reason.
Have fun its really a good choice much much better than 2010 and for sure than 2009.
