JR's CORP GP40 problem

Angry Trainz Nerd
I'm having a small texture problem with JR's CORP GP40. I have tried overwrite the asset, and removing the asset and reinstalling it. It still does this.

My build looks the same way. I just thought its the way the locomotive looked. I de-favorited it! HA DE-Favorited. Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this one.

Sorry I was of no help, I play trainz on the lowest graphics level so I'd say maybe turn up the graphics if I were to help with this one.

Cheers, William

P.S And yes I do read that part.

BTW I have train and texture detail on the highest point.

Have you tried going from Directx to OpenGl or vice versa?
Kenny

The game won't even start in OpenGL.

This loco worked in TS10 (the fail because I lost my serial before i could register it) under DirectX

What exactly are your computer specs?

Low Performance...

Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Pentium P6100 2GHz
4 GB RAM
TS12 installed on 500GB External Hard Drive
Intel HD graphics.

Yes, it's a laptop. Yes, it's a piece of crap.

That's an interesting one, as it does not correspond to my normal definition of a texture compression issue.

By the looks of things, one of the graphics settings is set too low, or the engine has a texture mapping problem.

Did you by chance open the texture file in and modify it in any way? If so, the problem may be the alpha channel needs to removed.

John

If it's only happening with that one loco, try this, delete from CM, run a QDR, that makes sure there isn't still a copy in the original folder as well as the local, then reinstall it.
