JR Muiltiple Industry New Update

No this does not function that way in Load/Unload all mode. You can drop the traincars at the industry and continue along while they are loaded/unloaded over the amount of time you have set. AI trains can be set to uncouple and leave cars at the industry and move on to the next assignment. The supply or demand come from the industry so no load or unload command is necessary in this mode. If you leave a traincar inside the loading boundary with a load the industry demands, or if the car can accept loading of something the industry provides, then the industry will attempt to transfer between them. You may even add or remove or reposition cars inside the boundary during the process; If the industry detects a car that is loading/unloading is moved it will enter a waiting period to determine if it can resume, or in the case the car was totally removed from the area, wrap up the operation and mark the car off the list.

With the unload while moving mode you may assign an AI driver with a load or unload command and they will drive over the moving load/unloader at the correct speed (thus not allowing control until complete with the driver command), but you may also drive the train manually at the correct speed if you wish.

in load all mode the loading area boundary can be extended to 200m sure.
That sounds really interesting, BTW check your PM inbox please. I asked you something.

Thanks!

Will this new Multi industry asset remember it's state when saving a session as the next session, or will it start all over again.

Hi Justin --

Thanks. This has boundless possibilities.

In TRS22 I've managed to get it working using the "classic" configuration process. But using the sliders is beyond me. The sliders refuse to respond.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

Phil

Load/Unload all cars at this industry track: This option enables the industry track to operate on any vehicles that are found inside the loading area. This can be delayed by a start time. This is intended to be used in a more prototypical fashion, where train vehicles are left at the industry to be picked up hours or days later.

With this option selected, when I go to add a commodity the script fails. I'm running TRS22 Plus (Build 126280). It was on a bare route to test it and that happened.

I am having problems getting this working, I have only tried the two new mode, not the Trainz default mode, but on both of those modes unloading or loading doesn't start even if I am slower than the max speed or leave the cars there for longer than the start delay.

I have not tested it thoroughly by loading and unloading a freight train or some wagons, but I encountered the same error reported by Trainman10; however, this error was solved in the simplest way: closing and reopening the settings window. (y)😁

Rather I have a note to make to the author: is it possible to implement the possibility of changing the unit of measurement from feet to meters? Not everyone was born in America and only there you have feet as a unit of measurement ....

I have TRS2019 platinum SP5 build117009

The sliders are part of living railroad interface and I don't entirely understand them either- they wont be able to be moved unless the industry has processes enabled and configured but it is never required to move them at all as they are not related to this item. It is best to use the properties to do that part of setting up the track and inputs and outputs.

I am working on isolating this problem. I think it comes down to having many product commodities installed and delays the loading in the menu to the point it fails. that's why opening it again it will be fine. I do not know the appropriate way to load this list yet and those with a large selection shall have to click slowly. 😬

The displayed units of measurement are dependent on your game's current unit setting, so this is entirely up to you when you make your route. The same also applies to liquid commodities in the configuration section. Thank you for your observation that not everyone was born in America but it is certainly not the only place to use imperial measurement.

also before anyone notes it - the input for the length is an integer, so switching from 200 feet to 60.98 m is not possible and it does round down to the nearest whole meter.

As I pointed out in another thread, people in the USA can work in both systems of measurement seamlessly. Here let me help with the conversion. Three feet in a yard. A yard plus a decimeter equals a meter more or less.

TRS22. Managed to get it working in the unload while moving mode. Presumably (but not tested) it will work in the load while moving. Can't get it to work otherwise.
