JointedRail stuff [screenshots/renders]

There is no chance I will ever create anything specifically for trs 2006 again, that software has not run on my computer for years.

Having said that, the fictional schemes are pretty cool.

must you really ask about a custom cab in every post you make?

I'm sure you will know when certain lcomotives get them. For the record, I have no immediate plans to do a gevo cab, so you can stop asking every post if they are custom. Sorry to come across this way but I can't stand your waflling.

Many people ask this question, because some locomotives on Jointed Rails just re-use the UP DD40X cab(with the EMD windows) and sometimes, it doesn't fit the locomotive it's put on.

I myself have no problem with this, but i would also like to see more custom cabs in future Jointed Rail locomotives!

I think without a custom cab, JR still put out the highest quality products. If I was still playing Trainz I would purchase them but alas.....

my friend bought long before a locomotive from jointed rail known as gp38 cirr
this locomotive have no cab
a payware locomotive without cab?

well he added the cab himself
but point is a 7$ loco with no can i think there are way better locomotive with better cab and absolutly free
i think it should be retired from payware

Slow your horses there bud. Just because a locomotive doesn't have a custom cab means that it should be free? I'm not sure you understand the time and effort that goes into making such a locomotive even without a cab. It's a huge time commitment and requires lots of blood, sweat, and tears to get everything right. It's unfortunate that your friend maybe didn't know it was one of JR's older models, but if JR were to retire every one of their models that didn't have a custom cab, I can say they'd probably barely make ends meet, if that. I would love to know where you can find such quality, free US locos that have a custom cab, as you mention in your post.

Kamran,

Every JointedRail Locomotive Engine that I have ever purchased, or that has been retired has a custom cab. Furthermore, as far as I know, you're the first person to have raised the complaint about lack of a cab. There are plenty of people that purchased that pack, no-one else raised concern? Could it have been an error when downloading?

Take care,

Ryan:wave:

Quote analyzation time!

do i said it lacks custom cab????????????

Yes you did. Please refer to the post you made earlier in the thread here:

...gp38 cirr

Next,
it doesnt even have cab means you cant sit in cab

Not even sure what this means. Do you mean it has no cab at all?

I hate hijacking threads, so if you would like to continue this conversation, please PM me.

I don't ask about a custom cab in EVERY post I make:hehe:. And that's disappointing about the gevo cab, but I still will buy it with or without a cab because that is engine is BEAST! :D And just to throw this thread back on topic:

I just love looking from this bridge and seeing the city in the distance. It's better when there is actually a train though :)

well in any case to be sure, we would not hide the fact that any of our locomotives have a custom cab, so there really is no point in asking about it.

i would love for every locomotive to have a custom cab, but unfortunately i cannot work 24 hours a day modeling them, and if every one had a cab there would be only a small fraction of the selection at Jointed Rail.

the next custom cab will be that for the dash 8.

about the engine that was missing a cab, i cant speak for it, but maybe it was some kind of error. there really is no reason not to have a cab at all in a payware or freeware engine since there are built in cabs. i dont see how it has any bearing on whether it was a good buy or not, and it certainly doesnt mean im sending it to retirement as freeware. you should stop asking for things to be sent to freeware, it only makes them take longer to get there.
