What program do you use to make re-skins?

I used GIMP 2.8 for that.

Ugh. This question has been asked an absurd amount of times and has always gotten the same answer. GIMP, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Coral, Paint Shot, MS Paint. Anything that has a brush and can open .tga, .jpg or .bmp files.

It's alright there mate, I don't mind answering his question. He appears to be a relatively new member. I didn't know how to do any of this myself until a couple years after joining, so I don't mind. It probably just piqued his interest.

ATSF854, your centerbeam looks amazing. May I suggest, perhaps decrease the ground plane shadow's opacity a little bit?

Two questions, if I may; What are graphic settings at to attain almost realistic picture quality?
Where did the relay boxes in the second shot come from? It is hard to find a relay box that actually looks "aluminum".

It's the passenger version of the SD45, the SDP45. That extra bit at the back houses a steam generator that was used for the passenger cars of the time.
