It's gorgeous. Have to ask a question, and I apologize if it has been asked, is JR now only releasing content for TS12 and eventually, T:ANE?

Yes. After Jan 1, 2015 our content will be built to take advantage of the features offered in TRAINZ 2012 SP1 HF4 as well as T:ANE. This will be the lowest supported version we will build for as well as provide support. If you would like support for versions below TS12 SP1 HF4, we will announce how to do that before Jan 1.

Beautiful geep could use more dirt but hey its a Tucson assigned unit i'm in.

That is one of the cleaner skins.

Yes eventually this will happen. The more content we release under previous versions causes a larger support problem for us as well as making development more difficult when trying to maintain top level content.

They're going to after the year ends.

Correct. We will follow the same general pattern N3V takes when supporting trainz versions.

Even though it has been said that it's backdatable/backwards compatable.

This is not true for every item, as it stands now in order to make a new asset using all up-to-date features of SP1 we have to produce copies of assets to have them work in lower versions. We do this by disabling features or removing the incompatible parts. This is quite frankly a pain especially across TS09, TS10, TSMAC, TSMAC2, and TS12. When we do stop supporting the lower versions, it may still be possible to convert the assets down, but it will require knowledge about asset creation and the process will not be directly supported by us. For items using advanced materials such as the SD9, and using them in conjunction with a skin selecting system, the requirements are TS12 SP1. That simply wont work under another version - you get results displayed on the previous page of this thread. If we intend to move forward and always push the development bounds of our products, we have to start shedding the old feature lacking versions. We are not trying to wrong anyone here, just trying to make better products.

Just how dirty will the dirtiest skin look? I mean SP units look kinda out of place without several layers of soot dirt and sun bleaching.
Either way I'll buy when it is released.

Sorry, I haven't follow tane that much, but will we be able to put all the 09 and up content in tane or no, I want to go to tane when it comes out, I am trying to fix everything now in 09 sp4, I guess I am trying to ask will all the old Jr work in tane, thanks sorry for going off topic,
