Japan

Hirochi: The E235 looks great
Matura: Looking forward to the new containers, do you also plan to make the containers as seperate objects? so you can place them on the route.
TheNicofabi: nice train sets.

Also I recieved an newsletter noting that Andi's Tokyo Metro 08 has become official dlc for TANE, it's an bit more expensive and I also noted the train is removed from his own site.

I have recently finished finedetailing of the mountain, 3 pics here under shows the result.

Now it’s only an part of Higashi and Iwayama left + some small area’s and other things that I skipped, if I will have time enough the route might be released later this month or somewhere in Oktober.

Noice looking there, realy good looking!

hey gang!! nice to see everyone still plugging away on their layouts.
acelaamtrack: nice mountain scene there! So October will be the month of release eh? can't wait!!
hirochi: what is there to say? the e235 is really coming out well!!
matura: so we have more continers on the way huh? will they be animated or static? Also have you made more emus like the 113 or was that the only one?
TheNicofabi: Those kato sets are pretty sweet!! must've cost an arm and a leg though. I wonder did they ever make the sonic wonderland express set?
As for little old me, I'm still rehabbing the US Illinois Central line on my layout Then I will begin work on the newest and last route on the eastern portion of the SIRL, the n gauged West Sanito Line. well take care everyone!!

Well exactly £194.90 or nearly 300€... depends on what you wanna choose... so yeah... both my legs, all my brains and about every money i had left for this moment i got them...

To the Sonic 883 Wonderland Express... i can't find it in stock in any store i checked i know... but its hard to get your hands on certain trains noway days mainly because i guess Kato goes to production on demand... but i can be realy realy wrong there too...

The train looks awesome hirochi. I very like the digital panel with train destination.

About the containers. We have a lot of work in my job right now and some errors came out in my content manager so it need to be rapired and then containers require more work. Few days I hope. About making them static as scenery object. Well I could do that.

Also have you made more emus like the 113 or was that the only one?
If you mean reskin than no. It's not the only one but my other stuff is more like attempts.

Dear Jap-Trainz fans,

Let me shortly introduce myselves. I am Morten from Denmark and since my trips to Japan I have been very fascinated by Japan and the Japanese train system. Driving with the trains in Tokyo is such a great experience. Punctuality, cleanness and technology are second to none compared to other countries.

I have been enjoying Trainz for some years, but now wants to build some detailed Japanese routes. My questions to you are:

- For inspiration which routes do you recommend to download from the DLS apart from Keimei's "Kiha Japan" and "Outako Street" ?
- Are there any routes and Japanese contents available outside of DLS ?
- Are there other resources which you can recommend?

I will very much appreciate your input. Thank you.

Well come Morten, to this Japan weirdom we present you here ;D.

To your questions: No there are asdly no other routes besides those 2 on the DLS... outside there is some content but i dont believe actualy routes...

But still こんにちわ or Konnichiwa Morten o/

Arigato/thanks very much for your response.

Just saw your speed builds on YouTube, they look very great and is a good inspiration about Japanese track laying.

Hopefully someone in this thread will upload some of their fantastic stuff (O:

Take care.

Welcome Morten16c I have never seen any japanese routes outside DLS, except for the 2 routes you already mentioned, Pagroove's Electro Island has some japanese influences which is on DLS.
I also soon intend to release my Modeltrainz Japan route on DLS.

Thank you acelaamtrak. Looking forward to your route.
By the way had a good experience with Otaku Street. Set the environment to nighttime and it just like being in Japan when you browse into the smaller streets. This route really stands out for it's very high degree of detail. I am close to call it a work of art. (O:

Well keimei's routes seemed more like Presentation Routes... so basically art, yes lol... also if you plan to do detailed japanese routes i guess you also could kinda help out with the community project if you would like to.

acelaamtrak: I'm exited to see your route when it comes out.
Morten: I think jtrainz was making the Yamanote Line (but was very expensive).
As I tried to make the enoden series 10/20 proving my point I can't model to save my life and thought it would be best if I just used blender.

Welcome aboard Morton!!
HEy acelaamtrack, Is it possible for you to make a video preview of your route like a movie trailer?
Thenicofabi: yeah those kato sets are really exprensive!! The tracks alone cost as much as a used car. It just so happens they did make the Sonic wonderland express train both the silvery blue version and the blue and yellow one. I think the silver and blue one was the one you drove on Densha De Go2.
Matura: So you made others then? I'm rather curious now. you have a pic of any of the attempts?

Hello all. Good to see a lot of activity here :). I was away for a few days on a little vacation.
@ The Nicofabi. Very nice to see you bought those Kato sets. Do you have a track to run on them already or is that a next step?
@ Acelaamtrak: Good progress on your layout. Looks very nice. I also saw that the Tokyo Metro 08 is now DLC indeed.
@ Matura: Looking forward to the container content :)
@ Morten16c: If you want to try my Electro island v 2.1. go ahead. it has a whole Shinkansen line and a Japanese city To Shin with some lines. I'm currently preparing a v 3.0 for Trainz 12 so you can also wait a bit if you want. :D.

お帰り welcome back :D

And it's the next step... i still need to figure out some stuff and go check if i can find a store for N gauge stuff... so yeah... needs planning and such still lol... but first goal was to get some xD

So as I start work on my own route I need to find the bridge in this picture

The Picture is located on page 101,すべてのヘルプは歓迎されます!:D

So has any one herd the story of hackie the faithful dog? If not go here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hachikō . But anyway I think we should include hachi in our community project, like the hachiko bus and hachiko's statue at Shibuya Station (yamanote line)
Well you just made me shed tears o. o... god i am sensitiv... but definitly... we should due to the fact of this kind of stuff add alot of those things if there are more!
