Japan

So I recently saw pictures of the series 10 enoden line train and I instantly loved it
Yeah. It's really nice. I think they call these trains "light train" because it's not tram but not even standart train. I like these light train lines and trains but this one is beutiful.

So I am going ahead with plans for a route but to make it will need some help. I really need a two track 42in track tunnel and a two track tunnel station both will need catenary and a two track 42in bridge similar to hirochi's Shinkansen bridge (I would just change the tracks to it but I do not think hirochi would let me) but if anyone could do that that would be awesome. I would do it my self but I have my hands tied at the moment with school and need to get my school work done.
EDIT: Read this over and noticed I sound like a gimme pig sorry about that, I having major issues with trainz and am trying to fix it but made it worse.

That's a good question. If you want to download a TS12 content you will need serial key for TS12. I think you can download stuff for TS2009 and anything older with this serial. But with TS2009 serial key you can't download TS12 content. So you should buy TS12.

Someone told me that i can download all Japanese trains which are for ts2009 with trainz 2012 serial key. Don't you have ts2012?

Yes I have them. But I have serial key for TS2009 too. So I can't tell. Someone with serial key only for TS12 without serial key for TS2009 should know.

You can download everything that is still compatible with the Trainz12 Version... basically everything that has 2.9 in the config is too old for that...

I have imported content from TS2004 into TS2012. Depending on how complicated the content is, you might have to do a lot of error-correcting, but it is possible to gather up items from previous Trainz versions. Routes themselves may be a bit more problematic as the structure of the files changed between 2006 and 2009 (at least I think it was those two versions) and it is quite possible you would get a "blue sky" route (which menas all you see is blue sky and nothing else).

having said that, a lot of content for older versions looks bad on newer versions of Trainz.

Okay , so what am i supposed to do to make them work on ts2012?
And that's the reason that i wanted to buy ts 2009 because you don't have anything to do in order to not encounter problems.

Utilizing content from any version less than the one you are currently using will cause errors to creep into the content. How they get solved (if the can BE solved) is dependent on what the errors are. If, for instance, there is an error with a mesh, then you're out of luck because only the original creator can fix it. But, if the errors are keyword-related, then you have to read what the rror is and fix it.

A lot of keyword meanings get changed (and added/deleted) from version to version and the contents are under more and more scrutiny by error=checking routines in higher versions. It used to be that a Boolean value could either be "0" (zero) or "non-zero" (meaning anything BUT zero). In later versions, it has to be either "0" or "1". Thus, you got an error of "such-and-such keyword is not a Boolean value" if the value was "3" (which used to work, but now doesn't).

I hope this makes sense.

BTW. I'm working on new containers for KOKI cars. But now they will be products. Old ones as well. It's hard if not nearly imposible to find 30ft containers so I'm working on new ones. So posibly soon we will have 12ft, 20ft, 30ft and 40ft containers as products.:D

Nice sets Nicofabi.:)

For those who are looking forward to my new containers I have news. I actually already complete them today and I wanted to upload them at the end of August. But I found more applicable pictures so I wanted to make more of them. So maybe next weekend. I myself look forward to it. :hehe: It is possible that there will be more than fifty or lot more versions.
