5 pics from my Retrackage project. Replaced the Shinkansen with Hirochi content for TANE compatibility and also the 1067 mm tracks. Here some shots out of TS12.
Mhm looks nice with the replaced stuff!... Also.. anybody interested in like a "competition-ish" kinda thing? I mean it would basically just involve making a singal module japanese but as japanese as possible... and well then voting... (i would even put them together if we got more then enough to a line)
Well one of those blocks basically and yeah everything is fine as long as it is on that one module basically... wanna see if we get enough people interested here though first...A single module? You mean build a track on one single map module like scale model railway or build a diorama? If diorama. I'm in. I always want to build it.![]()

Well its just a base plate... so that doesnt take long and i am not like asking for it to be done in an hour lol... and if you wanna do a real life line... i thought about making the Tsumuri Line... its a small one but might be interesting for a Multiplayer one because of exactly that... (though i clearly got issues with the DLS now cause my FCT ran out and i got no money since i gonna order some JR Model Trains tomorrow T.T)Competition could be fun although I don't have the time for that. A group project could also be fun. Making a real life Japanese line. One person could make the baseplates. The other the base textures the third the track work and so on etc.

Thats the spiritA diorama competition could be fun. I wanna try if enough people want. After all its just for fun.
Speak all of this awsomeness and i shall hug you... also if you are looking for cab rides on Tsumuri Line... it was a Line made in Densha De Go Professional 2 (just search this here '電車でGO!プロフェッショナル2' in youtube and you will definitly find some playlists)I'm searching for a complete cab ride on the Tsumuri Line on Youtube. Can't find one for the complete line yet. But the idea for a community driven short line project could be fun. Persons could sign in on areas they like for example: (1 and 2 could be in one point).
1. Making the baseboards
2. Making the Basic ground textures (zoning like in sim city)
3 Track work
4 Catenary
5 Signaling and speedzones
6 Main buildings
7 Super detailing
In that way everyone could work on the things that one loves. Of course the disadvantage is that the person who is gonna do the super detailing has to wait the longest because that is the last step in the proces. Also we should have a place to share the route in progress.
But maybe do a 1 baseboard diorama competition first. This could be done with themes.
Possible themes:
Japanese Country
Japanese Town
Japanese Industrial area
Japanese small/medium/large stations
Japanese port
Japanese Airport
etc..
Or famous places like Shinkansen with Mt Fuji in the background diorama etc. etc.

Final results should go up on the DLS so that we soon have a large route choice.
Well thats okay, its planning phase for the competition thing first anyway but nice to hear you are already planning on expansions for your route ^^.I would add roadlayout and devide superdetailing into track/station finedetailing and surrounding scenery finedetailing.
Here is also an video of Tsumuri line from Ogimachi to Tsurumi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xhsbp5WnLV0
Seeing an real life route worked into trainz would be great which adds alot more variety to the amount of japanese style routes available in trainz which isn't much.
Myself I likely won't participate into this competition since I would like to finish my own route which have already taken longer then I expected and afterwards continue in the possible expensions (docks-rural mountainarea?).
P.S. I also added 2 thumbnails of my layout to my previous post, because the thumbnails end up becoming small for to be used in trainz I would like to hear if these are good enough or other pics for the thumbnails would be better.
Yeah... that one is just showing Keimei's true...@ TheNicofabi: I believe the session thumbnail is showing Keimei trains. They are on the DLS.
I didnt realy expect it to be easy and aswell i didnt even intend to think of making it 100% like the original but alot of imagination on how to make it look atleast similar till we got the actual stuff of the route.- Tsurumi Line:
I think the Tsurumi line, while being indeed short, is still a very challenging project. It needs lots of custom content due to following reasons.
Cab vid (thanks Acelaamtrak)
> video of Tsumuri line from Ogimachi to Tsurumi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xhsbp5WnLV0
- Catenaries are not standard they are of a double variant with possible also normal power lines above the caternary
- Some elevated stations at the end. Tsurumi station could be kit bashed but I don't know the other elevated station.
- Bridges are blue instead of green and some special bridges
- Overgrown NG track
So either we cheat a bit and try the route with current content (best option I think because you can also replace content later) or make all custom content (will take long and I don't have time for that)
What do you guys think?
That Line is definitly one to consider aswell indeed, i can see they use circular speed signs but they are pretty easy to make (as long as they dont give me as much trouble as my stop markers *sighs*)Kintetsu Utsube Line: 5.7 km where keimei's kintetsu 260 can be used, main problem here would be 762mm tracks.

Definitly considerable aswell... (from the video) the start might be a bit difficult again with the overheads/catenary due to the mainline going along for a bit... but definitly considerable...Fukushima Kotsu lizaka Line: 9.2 km where keimei's Fukushima 7000 can be used, for older version Fukushima 5000 can be used.

Well if you guys worry about detailing and objects i would say if we get the route to a Densha De Go standard (wich is more or less pretty basic) its already a good way to go... (and yes sorry that i refer so much to that game but it is what drives me more or less...

would definitly be great if some Content creators could jump onto this project.... but we gotta see with what we have for now i guess...
Matura: You released an large package of all kind of objects an while ago which could be very usefull but could you put an part of it on download station if possible and allowed (I think I saw some reskinned objects in there) so people can still get it when the links to the package are gone?
I am not sure how long files stay on Mega but I know from alot of routes that used alot of non-dls stuff most links where gone 1/2 years after release of the route.
