Hirochi again well done, those shinkansen bridges and tunnels can be of great use for my future projects but currently I can only use your tunnel om my modeltrainz map.
TheNicofabi: an bit late but welcome to the forums, nice progress on your route already and am looking forward to future progress.
Now I made some progress again on my own modeltrainzmap last 2 weeks, From the start I also wanted an small tramline driving on the map but couldn't figure out where to put it, I finally have been able to find an nice place for it, you can see it in the following pics together with the finedetailing which is complete on these sections.

Well thanks... though i never thought i do that much different from the other...
Well it was interesting how you build the straight track elements and connected them. I never used that method. Also I never use the rulers. So this was interesting in several ways mostly for future projects.
I have reached a release candidate for Electro Island 2.0. and I am in the process of releasing it. I let you all know when its going up on the Download station.![]()
"Snip". Also I never use the rulers. "Snip".
Wait Pagroove, you've never used the rulers? I can tell you they are very useful especially on those routes when you want precision as close to the prototype. I have done this on a project that is currently on Hiatus because it is just way to big to be done for fun in a short time.
I do have to ask, what is the average distance between stations? On the Tokaido Mainline run by JR east for their limited express, I've estimated about 15-30 km between each station at speeds of 50-110 kph depending on the track geometry.Yeah... the ruler is actually quite handy... i am mostly just using it for knowing in what range i have to place the station to have it kinda fitting to reality...
Well... i dont even know if my average are accurate... but in citys its mostly about 300m - 1.2km and country sided its 3km+... but all this i mostly only took from playing Densha De Go!I do have to ask, what is the average distance between stations? EDITED TO ADD. Fun fact. Version 1 was released exactly 1 year ago also on the 8th of March I see now by doing a forum search. So it took me exactly 1 year to this update![]()
