Japan

What a coincidence eh? But thats litteraly funny lol...

Nice building TheNicofabi. I liked the viaduct from the last video. Looked like a complex thing to make. I must look more often if object have advanced parameters like that viaduct. I didn't know you could adapt the angle etc.

I guess you mean the overpass i did to let the "express" line pass over the commuter line? Yeah i actually was quite lucky to find those for that cause japan has some of those kind of overpasses...

Electro Island 2.0. prerelease notes ;).

So Yes. After all the hard work of preparing a release I rested today.

Here's the 'Official' Promopic. Keimei's Shinkansen 0 enters the Landbridge West. Colden Shinkansen station can be seen in the background. Viewing distance is set to the medium 3000 meter.

So to start of the promised 'scoop' mentioned in post #1739. Here's the Item kUID list of Electro Island v 2.0. and all related content. Beware that it not up yet. Today I did approve the items in the preview area.

Electro Island Items:

EIv2itemlist.png

So this time I uploaded the map and 4 sessions to start with.

- Now including my supersession with about 40 ai trains and 7/8 portals active. However a warning that this session does not work right out of the box I will have to write instructions for the complete ai session because it uses many kemei trains with the wrong sound. I will provide instructions on how to replace the sound of the trains with the new JR E321 Engine Sound (TS12 Optimized) for each and every train in the soon to be opened Electro Island v2.0. screenshots and instructions thread. Otherwise you hear the horrible screeching sound of the the old jrE321 Engine sounds that where not optimized for TS12.

- For enjoying only Shinkansen /Japanese (ng +shinkansen network active) and TGV I have provided separate sessions.

- As you can see I uploaded station announcements for the 4 largest Shinkansen stations.

Electro Island 2.0. prerelease notes ;).

ALL OF MY HYPE!!!!!
*takes deep breath* okay... i am fine... but yeah so stocked for it :3

Actually i can spoiler a bit... with the parts i uploaded today i already said that i finished the Main Line layout for the Alpha Phase... wich basically means the passenger ones... and for the fun of it i litteraly wrote down every single freight Keimeis cargo wagons can carry so i know what industry i can build on it now (coal already included aka tomorrows video :3)... (was not easy and not much fun) but... actually... i would still need ideas on wich to put in besides the typical ones... also i dont mind people giving Ideas for Station Names :D

Are you also to continue with your Jakken-Ja prefecture? Or is the new line taking priority? Just asking because Jakken-Ja looked already like a good route in the making.

As i said before, I will continue Jakken Ja prefecture... its just that my nerves got killed for cause i was stupid and got a copyright strike through the last video on the channel i wanted to upload it... wich basically means now i am restricted on that one... and i need to rerender it cause music... but eh, like i said gonna continue but probably when i have more time (so in about a month probably)

It's amazing!!! I hope to download it soon (If I have my FCT available, especially to download the missing dependices).

Soo... i uploaded 007 today but didnt build today because of a math exam tomorrow... yay... >_>
I dunno if i should post the whole list of Freight that comes with keimeis freight wagons to let you peps decide wich freights i should include since that part is basically me building the coal mine... and i need more industry for sure.

@TheNicofabi : Still going strong with the track work ;). Good luck with the math exam.
@Marinemania. Very good work. Amazing. I like the shots with the street mirror. It looks exactly what you see if you look Google Streetview in a random Japanese urban surrounding. Very nice.

Marinemania: great pictures.

TheNicofabi: You do well on the trackwork, like Pagroove I never knew of the existence of FT objects, had to mainly rely on eyesight and guide curve objects so this comes in very handy and makes it alot easier for future projects.

Pagroove: looks good and am downloading it now.

I actually only found out about those through a video myself... it was a Czechz guy who did tutorials in Czech (i didnt understand anything) where i found out about those things and was like "Hey... i should use these!"

Edit//:
Well here is 008 :D where i build the crude oil place... need to figure out how to make the loading rail look better though cause that one just looks silly... also... wish me luck for tomorrows history exam T.T

I have decided to start a blog about my layout Electro Island v2.0. so that I can return with posting mostly screenshots in this thread. Follow the progress of Electro Island v2.0. and up by going to my blog. Of course I will still post a nice Japan related pic now an then :)

Wow this thread has been busy since I last posted huh? Nice pics and vids everyone!! It's been a rough week for me but I managed to do some small updates for the Sanito line. The tunnel from Daiyonju to the industrial town of Tsuyagami has been completed Within the mountain, the Sanito line crosses over the Bullet train line and the Highway tunnels. IT was pretty tricky. Then I was able to restore service to the beach side resort town of Ichiharu and the city of Horida which is the midway point of the whole route so I'm halfway there :) Take care and good luck with your projects everyone!!

@ railshuttle. Very nice progress. Keep working (and backup often :)) I do especially like your 4th and 6th picture in this series. Very urban.
@ TheNicofabi. Good map! Oh and you asked for suggestions for names. I did use this site (East Asian name generator) http://fantasynamegenerators.com/east-asian-town-names.php (EDITED to add: My link only goes to the main page but look under the menu 'places') on my map over at my blog

The first 3 names are Japanese Town and City names. Probably good for some of your stations?
