It's game time! Join the official #trainjourney thread today

Has anyone discovered the clue on twitter? 60 cars? What could it mean?

You're going to have to visit twitter to find out the full clue - but I'm sure it will help.

Yet another example of being forced to go somewhere just to participate in a game that should be completely available from this site? Might be considered having a whinge, but I'm not going to sign up to twitter just to get a clue.

the hidden website is probably the tweet unscrambled; auran.com/trs2006
Correct - well done Pencil42!

Trying something else now....
Hawes Junction
Iberia Interia
Maglev Project 2006
Marias Pass Approach
Modula City demo
Northbay County
PT Dresden-Nuernberg
Razorback Railway
Tidewater (North and South)
Toronto Rail Lands 1954
Wadalbavale Line
11 stops on the map and 11 routes listed on the website - it looks like there could be a match. However...
for some unknown reason, the order on our original map is all mixed up. I'm going to award you a 3 month FCT for being the first "semi-correct" answer - congratulations.

You don't need a twitter account to see the clues. It's a tad silly to have to go there though.

There is method in our madness. Several hundred people will see the posts on this forum, and thousands of people will see tweets and FB posts. One of our goals with this teaser is to expand our reach. Every person who Likes a post on FB or retweets on Twitter helps spread the word about Trainz. That, in turn, helps you guys down the line - more awareness, increased sales, increased investment, better products, more awareness. The cycle is complete :).

Now, back to the mysterious map....

We need to find the correct order. Some quick math shows 11! (11 factorial) means there are 39,916,800 different possible combinations - if only we had done that calculation a little sooner .

To simplify the operation, here is a really big clue... DRTMTIMWMNH

Figuring out this clue leaves 12 remaining choices. The person who gets the final order correct will win a 3 Month FCT. We will limit each person to one post per hour (to avoid a spam fest of guesses from a single person).

We can then move on to the Day 2 Challenge...

If you happened to be online when this was posted, best of luck. If you missed this huge clue, stay tuned as there will be more prizes announced each day.

Really - 100 views and no takers for a free FCT within the last hour? What am I missing here?

We have 11 routes:
Hawes Junction
Iberia Interia
Maglev Project 2006
Marias Pass Approach
Modula City demo
Northbay County
PT Dresden-Nuernberg
Razorback Railway
Tidewater (North and South)
Toronto Rail Lands 1954
Wadalbavale Line

We have 11 stops on our Branchline. Stops 1-11.
The "code" I gave was DRTMTIMWMNH.
Perhaps
PRTMTIMWMNH might have made more sense.
Post the list of stations in the order you think they appear on the original map, and you win a 3 Month FCT for copy/edit/paste.
If you choose the correct order you win - how easy could it be??

You've got 2 hours to solve this first Challenge or I'm cancelling the prize and starting Challenge 2.

Once again - good luck.

Congratulations Basti - you have discovered the correct order of each station. A 3 Month extension to your FCT has already been issued!

For Challenge 1, thanks to Pencil42 for decoding the anagram auran.com/TRS2006 and to opus722 for identifying the 11 new routes that shipped with TRS2006. And of course congratulations to -Basti- for correctly identifying the correct order of each stop.

Challenge #2 awaits... a new thread will be starting shortly.

Back to the good old days of puzzle pieces!, except they were not scattered on other sites too. With a lifetime FCT, I don't need an extension and I don't do FaceBook or Twitter either. I understand the need to spread the word about Trainz so I'll just sit back and enjoy the view.
