items from the download station not downloading

i am trying to download a kuid from the download station, but it begins downloading and it gets to a point where it is almost done and then the speed goes down to 0.00 bps and it won't download. it is annoying because i need the kuid to work. any help/advice is appreciated

Hmm, I remember this happened sometimes with large downloads in the CMP, with large I mean assets of 30Mb or more.
Of course the file could be corrupt, but most of the time this installing error is something in the CMP itself. If the download speed goes to zero without committing make a note of the file size displayed and press the Stop button in the download helper window.
Now open in your trainz installation folder the UserData/cashe/internet folder and search for a cdp file with the same file size. I mostly click on the date column to get the last downloaded file on top.
If you found it close the CMP and wait until TADDeamon has closed itself as well. This is a trainz helper program that runs in the background and does some database juggling after exiting the CMP. If it stopped working move the file you found in Userdata/cache/internet to any other location and start up the CMP again.
When the CMP is up and running go to the menu File/Import CDP's... and see if the cdp you moved to a save location before, will install and that's it. Most of the time this will work, so I hope it does for you too.

Hmm, the above only works immediately after you found out the download speed reduced to zero. The problem is that when you launch the CMP the cache is emptied of all what you downloaded during the previous session. That is the reason to move the file out before restarting the CMP. The fact you can't find the file is probably because of that. Download the item again and if this happens again, going to zero and not installing, try what I described earlier.
Btw, under 5Mb file size for this problem to occur sounds a little bit iffy, maybe there's something wrong with the file, but it doesn't hurt to try again.

Ok, the answer is easy, on the 'black pages', locate the item > select 'download page' > then download it via FTP.

Open CM3.3 select 'File' from the top left of CM & from the dropdown, select 'import cdp', browse to where you downloaded it to & select 'open'.
CM should now add the item to your list of content.
