Is there any way that I can find out how many trees are planted

I have a rather large route that I am working on and I have planted thousands of trees on it. Is there any way that I can find out how many trees are planted?

The number of different types of trees, as mentioned by Lewis above, is revealed by listing the dependents of the route in CM. The exact number of each type of tree will be a mystery for there is no way of counting them.

In the route asset Trainz must keep track of where every asset is located, their orientations, heights above (or below) the terrain, etc but this data will be buried deep within the .map and other proprietary data files.

It would be great to have a tool that will allow you to find that individual "pesky asset" you accidentally added somewhere.

All the trees are pine trees by euromodeller. I only used 2 different ones of those. Oh well....I know there are a LOT of them on this 1,200 base layout.

Yes, there is a way. Don't expect 100% accuracy, unlike roads, track and other things

Download Java 'if you haven't got it already'
Download JOSM "Java Open Street Map' editor.
Load up JOSM | Click on that big green 'pointing down'.
Use your mouse to select areas around your route, you can download all the data bit-by-bit of the surrounding areas of your route
You will now need to create a filter, add a filter and create one for TREES tick all boxes and you'll be able to count how many trees are within the area.
Edit: You can use the select tool to select all trees giving you an estimate number of trees.. Saves counting them ;) ;)

There are tutorials available on youtube on how to use JOSM... I'm lucky enough to know how to use it myself ;) LOL
Best of luck :) :D
