I dont think there is.
You'll not wreck your computer by downloading faulty assets. Just delete or repair them.
Make sure if possible to download the assets for the correct version that you want to use them in.
I think battlearrow is worried about getting a virus. After all (if I recall correctly), Auran/N3V doesn't guarantee that the assets on the DLS are 100% virus free.
If you download from the DLS or from the myriads of Freeware Third Party Sites, your computer will be infected with tons of good will, trainzy artistry and skills, generosity and a dangerous virus that goes by the name of 'trainziness', highly addictive and contagious but in the end, a friendly macroscopic bug.
No vaccine against that is needed or desired.
If you scan the DLS and Third Party Sites, your AV application will diagnose: "Many good guys found. Quarantine ward closed" :hehe:
Even things that are called "FAULTY" in Trainz frequently work just fine. There's a tutorial at railsim.com/uk that can be found here. It lets Trainz know that the files aren't faulty. Oh darn, they got rid of it, go and google it.
