is there a trainz2009 for windows 7?

Hi,I`m back. Have been looking around for a copy of trainz 2009 for windows 7, is there such acopy, or will the Vista run on mine?(this could have been a freak!)

All versions of Trainz will run on any current version of Windows.

With Vista/Win7, it helps to at least install Trainz while running as Administrator. But Trainz runs just fine on Win7.

Do not load it in the Program Files folder, I load mine c:\Auran\<game>

You can load it under the program files folder, you just have to set everything up to run as administrator. Putting it in the root just bypasses UAC somewhat but doesn't bypass it altogether.

But I've loaded Trainz practically every way under Vista and 7 both 32 and 64-bit and it runs practically any way you want to run it

Thanks to all the guys(no gals?) who put me right, you sure are a great bunch!! At moment I am a (below) novice at trainz,but I`m getting there,it`s difficult, but well worth it, once mastered!!
