Is there a soundless 'enginesound' ?

Greetings to all,

As the heading of this thread intimates,I am after a soundless 'enginesound'.I want to use it with the AI Brake. The original had a diesel sound,which was no good behind a steam engine,with no diesel engine in sight.I put a steam sound into it to overcome this problem,which worked reasonably well,in TRS2006. However in TC3 with the new engine sounds,it sounds decidedly odd,tending to drown out the sounds the real loco makes.Hence my question.
If anybody has some ideas,I would be exceedingly grateful to hear them.
