Ihave been thinking about getting trainz railroad sim 2019 but is it possible to move conetnt from trainz 2 that i have downloaded to that version of trainz?

Having just acquired TRS19 I've just gone through this rather time consuming procedure (open assets for edit in TANE; import editing folder into TRS19). It's a shame we can't just drag and drop the 'Local' folder like we used to in the old days.

That's not what was suggested. It is much faster to select a group of assets, export to CDP and import the CDP into TRS19.

I agree. Using CDPs works for a few assets, but when there's a bunch it's painful.

I used a TrainzUtil command in TRS19 to import assets opened for edit in T:ANE and worked with about 20-30K at a time.

I started TRS19 launcher to allow TrainzUtil to run.

I then opened a command prompt (Powershell now) and navigated to the TRS19 program directory.

Then I ran this:

C:\Program Files\N3V Games\Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019> ./trainzutil installfrompath F:\TANE_DATA\editing

Even still the process took many days... Arrgg!
