No disrespect FiachaIR and you are so very wrong in your assessment.
The long gone disagreement(at least by me) on a non-Trainz issue way back in earlier 2013 did not effect me as it did him. Indeed at the end of the thing I said I indicated that Trainz would be the order of the day and wished him the best. Is that a clear enough stance? More recently my PM to him was not in any way belligerent nor satirical or confrontational but pleasantly made. Last year another Trainzer got a sharp reply from him on the forum so with respect look closer home my friend not to Glasgow! And with the last fortnight I complimented him on his latest productions so it is he who has long continued an attitude problem not I. In my enjoyment of Trainz matters you would find it difficult to see anywhere where I have been so grumpy and arrogant. Having been prepared to be reasonable was one-side only by me. If a lesser person i would have just stuck to my large original project which was the NIR and a place I visit often on holiday and took many boys camps to.
However, I got a bit even more like Caesar getting ambitious and decided to go further on the island of Ireland so that Trainz would have a modern and reasonably large offering. To date I have track down to Dublin Connolly, plaforms in and all the approaching track the branch off to Dockside Station, DART Depot and now track west on the 2 lines that eventually merge and then tunnel under Phoenix and by Friday night the platforms and all approaching stuff into Heuston Station. Maybe an odd error here or there as awkward on Google Earth and a puzzling junction under a bridge I cannot work out. Track also goes beyond Connolly to Amiens Street and not far beyond that. Obviously I do not want to be held out by a city scenery and want to get onto working back north all the way up to Newry where scenery restarts. That along with the Howth and Navan branches added to the challenge.
All that is far, far, more important to me than any built-in negativity by anyone hamstrung by negativity. Others have been appreciating what i am doing from distant Glasgow including my trip over to take notes on the NIR and now will do the same for the IR . Personally I am no lame pussycat but neither am i a grugde holder and that corner I leave elsewhere. My over-riding aim is to produce a really great opportunity for Trainz in a part of the world not noted as of yet, There have been a couple of worthy efforts but mine is a modern and today situation which is being done in between health issues. Not only for Irish or N. Irish trainzers but lots of others elsewhere who would like to see this too!
So now I am switching to the building north of Dublin which will be a slow and tying job and in between go back and fill in bits of Dublin! I regard anyone basically on Trainz as a mutual fan association and still exercise the best wishes I extended the without exception last year. So now with central Dublin in place on with things and when I get over to Belfast and take my day trip down to Dublin I do still hope for sunshine and if I get this finished people will be able to run the Irish stock being produced on a wide and modern situation with the added benefit that anyone wanting to go beyond Dublin I have put tracks in place for extensions to anywhere. This is all more important to people (as I have discovered and thanks) than some grump being held on to. Regards to all from a rather fresh Glasgow!
