Hi

Can someone please put on here a list of easy steps on how to use iPortal and what exactly does it do? Sorry if it is on here somewhere, I can't find instructions and I have looked in the manual but can't see it.

Thanks!:)

Using Iportal you, or someone else, can send trains to one another, either to a PC right next to yours in the same room, or across the world (provided that you both have the same locos and cars downloaded on both PC's).

Using Iportal you can also send your trains to another closed route on your route list, and when you open, the once closed route, your train will emerge on the new route.

You must name Portals and Iportals using the "?" button, and your partner must configure his Iportal to send/receive trains to/from your Iportal name(s).

Iportaling ??????

First you must pick a good location for your iportal,it must have an exit that will hold at least 75 cars before your signal/switch. now you need to give your iportal a name. now give your iportal a ID(make this short and lower case) as in fa,or fa1. The other can be set in driver. now check for trains i set this for 60 minutes this will alond the train to stay in the iportal for that long you can create a train any time before then, after 60 minutes the train will come out anyway. You should add panel selector rule from edit session. This will give you a list of iportals on your route and clicking on this you can change where you want your trains to go while in driver.

Thanks all for your help. This sounds a bit complicated for me for now though  I may try it when I've actually learned how to build a track!:hehe:

Best Regards:)
