Install of trainz 12 problem

i keep running into this error anyone have any ideas?
C:\Program Files (x86)\N3V Games\Trainz Simulator 12\Builtin\ts12b.ja

An error occurred while trying to copy a file
the source file is corrupted.

using windows 7 home premium 64 bit

Welcome to the forums. That error nearly always means that the .cab or .bin file that the file in question is stored in is corrupt. Is this a disc version or a digital download?

I'm currently re downloading and will try again.

To save you some time, it's likely that the file is in the first .bin file.

I am using amazon.com for the download and only have a choice do download the whole thing. I only have 20 min to go.

That's great - next job you may have to do is patch your version, but in order to do that it will depend on the 5-digit number on the Launcher screen.

I'm patched up to 49922, should i run the service pack to get me to 57720?

I would not advise doing so as there are a lot of unresolved bugs with it at the moment.
