Are there inspection or invisible drivable locomotive for checking out routes that I create? I thought I found one on the DLS but it had faulty dependences.

oknotsen, The invisible locomotive with faulty dependences has KUID number of 69593:2065. I downloaded the other two invisible locomotives and will try them out after going on the Internet.

well if you want to go all fancy you can get the track inspection train from JR. its not invisible but it looks the part :hehe:

I use invisiCAB (kuid:86661:15710) by slugsmasher as it has a top speed of 70mph and can stop almost instantaneously, which is very useful for exploring new routes. For my own use I added extra camera points to the cab config file to make it more useful.

I couldn't find the track inspection train or the InvisiCab on the DLS. The drivable camera doesn't have cab view. The Jet Sled doesn't have invisible cab view. The other cars/locomotives have faulty train component with unsupported *.pm files. Its KUID is -25:61. I will try creating my own inspection car from one of my subway cars.

I just downloaded it and it did not give me any faulty dependencies.
Could you tell me which of the dependencies is broken according to your install?
Which game (and version of that game) are you using?

I tried the invisible locomotive in TANE SP2 and the faulty dependencies has KUID number of -25:61. It uses *.PM files which are no longer supported.

Try this:

1) In the config.txt file of your invisible locomotive, change the PM to an IM.
2) Save, exit and submit.

That might fix the problem.

If not, open up the -25:61 asset for editing and view the actual name of the PM file. Once you get the name, revert, and open the invisible loco config.txt file and make sure the names are the same.

I was able to fix a few older assets this way.

This asset may be on the CRG to-do list, but they haven't gotten to it. Eventually, if it is, someone will repair the asset and reupload to the DLS.
