Inserting pictures from trainz gallery to a posted thread?

Being the forum has changed a bit how would I insert a picture from the gallery to my thread?
Before new forum format I would copy image from the gallery, go to my posting and paste image there. Tried that today and nothing happened. Is there a new way to post images?

Click on the insert picture icon.
Paste in the URL to the image.

I copy the image link from the gallery, then paste it to the forum using the 'insert image' icon above. When I post the link, it displays the image in the post.

How do you post a picture to the gallery using the Add Media option? The picture keeps posting as unavailable. I was trying to post a picture with the interface showing. Are there certain requirements?

Make sure you are logged into the gallery, as it is a separate login. Once you click Add Media, enter any titles or tags you want, then drag and drop the picture file onto the box that says "Drop Files Here to Upload". That's really all there is to it. It takes maybe ten minutes for it to show up in the gallery. How do you mean it is posting as "unavailable?" Is it an error in the Trainz Gallery? To post in the forums, click on the "Full image", right-click and select copy image link, then use the insert picture icon that looks like an image to post.

It is an error in Trainz Gallery. The image is not there. If I right click the image box and try to open image in a new tab it comes back as: The requested URL was not found on this server.

When I do that, this message pops up: Image cannot be loaded from the passed link.

I just tried it.

1. Open the Trainz Gallery
2. Select and Right Click on a gallery image
3. Select Copy Image Link
4. Move to the forum post where the image is to be inserted
5. Left Click on the picture icon with the popup tag of Insert Image (Ctrl+P)
6. Paste the copied address (from step 3 above) into the text box
7. Click the blue Insert button

As you can see it works.

As you can see it works.

It works for my pictures that I used through the program but not throw the Add Media method. The above screenshot is not the one I am trying to post. The one I am trying to post shows a train passing 1000 miles while in Trainz Living Railroad's Automatic Scheduler mode.

I have noticed that it can take a while (several minutes or even much longer) before an image uploaded via the Add Media option will appear in the gallery. Try logging off then logging on again. Those posted via the Trainz screenshot option appear (usually) within a minute or two.

After dragging and dropping image, wait for the page to redirect back to the main gallery page before doing anything else. I notice there are a couple of other images which also failed to materialise. it may have something to do with image type, jpeg images seem to work best.
