information before i buy trainz

Hi, I need information about Trainz Simulator 12. I just need to know about a few things before I buy the software. 1. Does the locomotives have ditch lights that works? I want to make sure that when I create a route I want to make it realistic as possible. 2. does the crossing gates work with bell included? Your guys input would be very helpful thanks.

Sure, if a particular loco supports ditchlights, they will work. But they work just as well in TS2009, which, according to your timeline, you already have. Ditto for crossing gates.

From what I have heard, buying TS12 will now come with SP1 installed.

I also hear that TS12 runs better than 09, 10, and has better features, although I have heard some few complaints about non-compatability mode, and SP1 ... but I have heard even more praise of the program.

Some of the DLC assets look absolutely fabulous.

If 09 runs well on your PC, I would guess that TS12 will run even better.

I honestly don't know what is holding me back from buying TS12 ... Possibly because I am a tightwad, and I haven't even explored TS10 yet

I've heard that if you have a 32 bit PC Trainz will need 2Gb RAM, and 64 bit PC 4Gb RAM

The video card is the most important hardware, and the CPU speed expressed in GHz ... ie: my ancient Toshiba Satellite 105, Integrated Graphics, 1.75GHz, 2Gb RAM laptop will not run anything above TRS2006

Since it is a 32-bit application, the answer is: No.
