IndustRail 2010 maps

Extract them to documents or anywhere you prefer. They are not used by the Trainz program. You use Adobe reader to view the maps or send them to your printer.

Download the zip file.

If you are using Windows 7 double click on the zip file to open it.

I'm assuming that you have Adobe Acrobat installed? It comes standard with many installs. Double click on one of the pdf files and Acrobat will open.

Print out if you want to.

Thanks dug, I can understand that , but if Trainz does not use these why and or how do I correct the the problem of 2010 not starting and getting message that is because maps are missing.

The map that Trainz refers to as missing is the actual route kuid that is listed in the Routes page. This route kuid contains the terrain, track and scenery of the route. The maps in the .zip compressed files are maps of the layout of the route showing track and industries. These are to be used as reference in finding your way around the route.

Philskene's maps are on RapidShare as state above.
The route kuids are on the DLS so you download/install/commit them using CM3.3.
If you have a route with the error 'maps are missing', post the kuid number of that route so we can try it to see what is wrong.

Thanks, thought it was worth a try to see if it would work in here, at least now I know there are different types of maps, as the message does not specify in simple terms.
