Hello all

I have 2 questions I would like answered, please.

Which locomotive in Trainz has the most accurate detail (looks closest to it's real-life prototype)?

Which locomotive uses the most polys?

I'm really looking to test my CPU. It doesn't matter if it's payware or freeware, I just want to know if it's poly-heavy

I don't know the specs, but RRmod's locos are about as good as they get as far as I'm concerned, and they do put a dent in my sorry computer. Jointed Rail too.

I would expect a highly detailed steam engine should meet your requirements.

Polys

Not sure about the details as I see much more I would like to do with them, plus many other creators have interactive cabs. But for the poly count, my 2-6+6-6 steam locomotives with tenders are right around 54,300.

I have to be the first to admit that my locos are not for everyone, but my NC&StL #576 with bogies and tender is in excess of 88,000 polys. I wanted to make it more detailed, but I had to stop somewhere. You might give it a try to test with.
