In Memory of Billegulla, Bill Fock

I'm very sad to hear the news.

When Elvenor passed away his family were kind enough to give permission for his work to be reskinned provided it was freeware and credit was given. I think his GMAX sources were also made available.

Perhaps someone who knows the family could approach them?

Many Thanks

John

Sad news. Most people probably think of his steam locomotive models but for me I'll remember the work he did on getting the physics part of it right. We shared an interest in Trainz steam-engine specs and over the years exchanged a few emails on the subject. He made his spreadsheet tool for steam-engine specs available to the community not long ago. He put a lot of work into it.

Thanks Bill,
I'll keep you in my thoughts

I wish to add my condolences.
Having lost my father last month I can understand the sense of loss for Bills family.
He has gotten off the Train of life and is now on the Train to better places.
His content will live on. His contributions to the forums will be missed.
Surely his friendship with the People of the forums will be the most lost.

To Bill we salute you.

I am very shocked by this. Having met Bill only once, he seemed like a very happy and nice gentleman, whom I feel privileged to have met. He will be missed very much in the Trainz community, his knowledge and skills were invaluable. His creations will long live in the Trainz world.

To Andrew and your family, you have my deepest sympathies. He will be missed.

Tom

I never knew, nor had any involvement with, the man known as 'Billegulla', however having lost a family member myself not 5 months ago, I can understand fully the pain and loss that those who did will be feeling.

To the family and friends of Bill Fock, I offer my condolences to you at this sad and difficult time.

May he live long in the memories of you all.

Matthew Mead.

Sorry to hear this very sad news. His excellent Loco's will continue to grace many a route within Trainz and they stand as a fine tribute to Bill himself and the hard work he put into their creation for the enjoyment of our Community.

My condolence's to Bill's Family and Friends at this sad time.

Regards,

JLB

Andrew,

So sad to hear about your dad. I communicated with him a few years ago when he was doing some work for and with Jetstreamsky and I on a locomotive engine.

Thinking of you and your family.

To the family and friends of Bill Fock, I offer my sympathies to you during this time.
I never met Bill, however I spoke to him on here a few times, and he met my dad once or twice when purchasing some PSM Brass Locomotives

I welled up a bit during after seeing this, but I've always considered myself a softie

I've only just seen this and I'm shocked. My sincere condolencies to Bill's family; he will be much missed on these forums, but his fine work will live on and bring pleasure to Trainz users for years to come.

Andrew & family,

My sincere condolences to you all. Your dad was a true gentleman & scholar. He will be sadly missed by all the Trainz community. May he rest in peace...

Mac...

My condolences. I only had one instance of communicating from him, via email, but he seemed like a kind and good person. I am sure, that's because he genuinely was.

I am sorry to hear the sad news Bill was kind enough to let me convert his recent 09 V Class locos to run in 04 and 06,and just three days ago I began converting his Three S class variants.
I now plan to to release these in his memory

My sincerest condolences. I am sure he will be remembered fondly by many. Please take it easy Andrew...and thank you for letting us know what happened. I am sure Bill is trainzing happily away in heaven at this moment...

Would be nice if Bills Victorian Locomotives stayed in the VicTrainz group which he helped set up. Victrainz have a group Kuid which is 1854.
At the time of Bill's death, several of his engines were being upgraded, including the J, S R and non streamlined S Class by Victrainz members.
Most of the billegulla engines were built in 04 and modified to 09 recently.
Modifications to 2010 and Trainz 12 are already in the pipeline. I believe that we should all check with Andrew before we make announcements ( I include myself as well, of course)
Cheers
Rod Young (VicTrainz)
