Image downsizing when going to quick-run

I have installed Trainz 2010. I have a problem with the monitor image going to 2/3 the screen when I go to a quick run from surveyer. When it does this, it throws of the mouse pointer and I cannot click on the correct point of the screen. I am running Microsoft 7 Ultimate, Nvidia 9400GT 1gb graphics. The only way I can clear this is exit the program and start again. Please help.

I have the opposite issue (based on your description) where the screen resets to desktop resolution, effectively zooming into the top-left portion of the screen.

This is a known issue with Trainz. The only solution is to set your desktop/video driver resolution to that of Trainz before running it.

That is what mine does, the top left portion of the screen. The thing is, it dosen't do it every time. I have had occasions when it stayed ok. How can I reset my video card?
