identifying places along the trackline in Driver

When in Driver, the trackline across the bottom of the screen in DCC up coming stations with their names. It can also display upcoming signals, switches and trackmarks but these are not identified, just a generic symbol.

Is there a way to display their names?
If not, is there another trackside object that can be attached to the track that can then display its name on the trackline?
As a last resort I suppose a mini station without any passengers or other visible parts could be made to do the job but I'd rather not do that.

Without finding another way, I finally went with the third option, a mini-station. Took one of my standard station and reduced it to a bare minimum, 4 passengers and a low gravel place for them to stand.

Before it is attached to any track. The red stripe is an invisible track that serve as a placeholder.

After it is attached

One thing I noted is that the Edit Details panel shows 120 as Peak Departing Passengers. Where does that come from? The station can only accommodate 4 people.
