Now I definitely say don't get another simulator.
You have a 60GB hard drive and 38GB left. If you get another, you will add content for it taking up more HD space.
Windows uses part of the HD for certain purposes, this part changes in size based on how much free space you have. The more you shrink your free space, the less Windows has to use thus making Windows harder to use. Been this way for several Windows versions.
I'm already about half of my 250MB HD left and refuse to add anything because I have noticed a slower performance so I'm slowly doing some cleanup getting rid of stuff I don't need or haven't used in a long time.
Take some time to go through what is on your HD. If there is something you don't need/use, remove it. If you have both your TRS2004 and 2006 versions installed, you should consider sticking to one and removing the other for more space.
Save money for either a memory upgrade or to buy a bigger HD that you could use either in addition or in place of what you have.
