well, i think i just found a blackhawk. i just stumbled upon it on accident. its in another language so i'm not positive yet if it is but it looks like it. as soon as my downloads are done i'll know.

Found the Huey model - it wasn't too bad to get it into Trainz:

I'll probably mess around with the weaponry, maybe do a couple of versions. I'm not sure about drivable versions; we'll see....

The texture looks like it won't be too bad to reskin (and other famous last words) - there's not much tiling used.

Note this is not my model or texture, it comes from Eve of Destruction (www.eodmod.com), and is used with permission.

i just found some free 3d models online, how do you import them to trainz and make them compatable? you did that pretty quick lol. I have gmax but I never used it and don't even know if I need it.

The models were already on my hard drive, so it was simply a matter of importing them into Gmax; replacing the materials with Trainz-friendly materials; converting the textures to uncompressed TGA; and exporting them.

damn, nice job. i'd love the huey on my route's base. i've downloaded some models but most don't have textures included i'd have to make my own. do you know of any good tutorials to sum up how to do this stuff? I have gmax and trainz content creation pack.
