I need urgent help.

I was in the middle of commiting content to 09, when my computer froze. Now when open the launcher I get a Fatal Error screen which reads:

When i select continue, start up menu is there, but not responding, as with when I press terminate.

See if you can launch CMP without going through the launcher. Go to C:\Program Files\Auran\TS2009\Bin and look for Content Manager or whatever it's called. Run that instead of the whole program. Once you can bring up CM2 and try to repair the database.

Good luck. I'm sure others will have more to say on this. I'm trying to remember paths and such from work.

As an addition to JCitron's excellent advice, I would delete assets.tdx file from the TRS2009 main folder and the assets.bku file (if present) in the TRS2009/Cache directory. (Assuming TRS2009 behaves with databases in the same way that TC3 does!)

That ensures that the databases are rebuilt from scratch rather than having the possibility of CM2 ovrwriting part of a corrupted file.

Okay, CMP2 has launched successfully and is repairing the files. This is a signifigant improvement over CMP1. Thanks guys. I will let you know if it works.


Edit: It is working fine, and committing the rest of the assets that I have left. (1000)

Good! My CM2 is just committing the last 200 assets and I'm getting impatient!

It is so worth it lol. Though, now i have to fix some of the things that went awry on installation. (For some reason most of my steam locos have failed to load all of the dependencies.
