I need a favor, 30 mile route blank

I need to hand create a segment between a Hoboken, NJ route and a Suffern to Port Jervis route. When I add baseboards from the Hoboken route the height is almost the same at the merge point between the Hoboken route and a flat baseboard. But, how can I measure out how many baseboards are correct? I thought about using Google maps and using the measure tool to measure out a square the size of a Trainz baseboard and repeating the square to determine how many baseboards I need.

Measure the map and then divide by 720.

30 miles * 1609.344 = 48280.32m

48280.32 / 720 = 67.056 = 67 base boards.
