I know this is not a trainz with a z topic but

I don't know how long the bend travels on for down the line, but it look like the second unit jumped the rails as soon as the train came in to view, what with the one in france last week and now this, highspeed rail is begining to come unstuck, could this be govenment cut-backs to blame. cutting back where they or't not?
 
I heard it was 80 people dead.... Preliminary visual judging.. distance and time from those piers shows they were going near 86, using the rail ties it was near 96mph... The track speed limit is 50...

Oh really? Hmmm. I assume they have an event recorder on that thing. It will be interesting if that turns out to be true.

EDIT: Found more:

El Pais cited sources close to the investigation saying the driver stated immediately after the crash that he had been traveling at 118 mph on the curve, which had a speed limit of 49 mph.
