I had a dream about Trainz...

When you dream of Trainz all night long (as you purposely bought a house next to a real RR line, just a quarter block down the street from you), with 65 trains daily, so that you can enjoy the ambiance of real RR sound effects, complete with horns and dinging crossing gates ... You are too much into Trainz !

And when you see a beautiful sunrise, or sunset, and remark in public: "WoW ... That looks just like a Pomme Sky 13" ... You are too much into Trainz !

I had a dream about trainz, where if a piece of content was faulty, content manager told me that it was faulty when it was installed.

I HAVE A DREAM!

That I will be able to import DEMs and the photo/topo texture in game! And that I will get more than 2fps with one speedtree on a route! And that 3D models could be created in game with high tech satellite thingies and a bunch of other crap I will never understand!

I don't understand, CMP lists any issues crisp and clear, bright as day. Missing tag? No thumbnail? Solid color texture? Outdated build? Missing dependency? Wrongly named attachment point? It tells you everything.

What a great thread: I had a dream that there was less then 7500 warnings, Old content was available going back to 2004 without all the updating silliness and all assets came with all their dependencies and thumbnails.
Well one can but dream.

Nearly forgot, I also dreamt that the updates and Hotfixes downloaded in less then 15min.

I had a dream that engines in pristine condition would slowly gain weathering as they ran, and that weather conditions from the sky would be replicated on the map (ie puddles forming/water levels rising during rain storms, or snow slowly covering the ground during snow showers). I also dreamt that snow could be cleared from the tracks using a snowplough.

I had a dream that traffic regions would have the vehicles automatically stop on red and proceed on green with the associated sidewalks complete with walking pedestrians who would cross roads when appropriate and enter and exit premises at random.

Now this, especially the snowplough part is the most awesome Trainz suggestion I have read in years. So well done.

Cool hotgrove, the traffic and pedestrians behaving this way would definitely add a lot to immersion.

As a tram route builder this would be top of my wish list.A single road line to produce a single line of traffic in a given direction.Adjacent lines to form a dual carriageway.Three adjacent lines for big cities all automatically controlled by the traffic lights.Sidewalk splines with animated pedestrians where the volume of pedestrians can be set for different areas..........I can always dream.

I had a dream where you could add a numeral to the rotating trackside camera, and adjust the camera, so it would no longer pan down, and look down at the railhead, and wheel flanges, following a midpoint of the loco.

This would be a nice feature. They have this in another game I play, Farming Simulator. The tractors and combines etc get dirtier as you drive them and they can be washed, by driving them through a car wash, to bring them back to pristine condition as well, so I know it's doable. I mentioned the other game just in case the team wants to look there to see how it might be able to be adapted to Trainz.

Second this, I have never really paid attention to a weathered stock until I played a scenario with some awesome weathered trains. This dramatically increased my immersion.

I had a dream that a steam train went 201111111mph without derailing on any corners :P(From Reversing Steam Train on full power) :hehe:

As Nerd3(OfficalNerdCubed) said, "Your playing a crap simulator! Play a good one!"-From Railworks 2013 Let's Play.

I had a dream about Trainz where I started the game, and put all of my JR stock on Marias Pass X, expecting it to lag like crazy and explode my computer or something... but it didn't! I would be so amazed with the stunning quality and it would make the game more enjoyable!
