might be back?
Hi i finally got my complete trainz collection today. Unfourtunatly after having the game installed for 3 hours TRS06 decided not to work(one of the files somehow got corrupted so i cant even uninstall it) so i have decided to try out 04.

I was just wondering how to install custom content seeing as it doesnt have a CMP. thanks.

Very simple. On the DLS hit download. Sites outside the DLS double click on .cdp file. No CMP nonsense. TRS2004 also has some neat third party tools like Trainz Objects, Trainz Tuner, and others.

Hope this helps.

04 has a DLH (download helper) anything on the DLS you can download by selecting the download helper link or you can put it in the cart then download the complete cart. In both cases the asset is automaticaly placed in the download folder. Custom content is your own created content like maps and sessions and are found in the custom folder everthing else is in the dispatcher downloads folder.

Thank you very much.

Also i am having problems with a few of my locos that i have downloaded. I downloaded all of the dependencys listed but when i go to my railyard the locomotive doesnt show up when i click on it. (it shows up on the side bar but when i click on it nothing appears.)

Still missing

Thank you very much.

Sounds like you're still missing something. Some asset dependancies are difficult to find and not always all are listed under the dependancies section. The best thing is to put a thread up with the loco name, kuid if possible, and somebody is bound to spot where the problem is.

I always have the kuids showing in Surveyor, if there's a problem like this it is then very easy to get info on it.
