How UK Drivers Last the Day

Very strange thread ! I had to look it up to see what the stuff was, and it is DEFINATELY NOT for human, nor any consumption, what so ever, ... and is a cleaner, and a fuel for alcohol stoves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=js_3SbPdKOE

The Reading Railroad had a RR Rule, that after 3 hours a train would be mandatorily stopped, and the crew partake in one shot of stimulant. This RR Rule was abolished soon after 1900.

As for horse meat, a horse was hit on the highway, and slaughtered ... and I was unknowingly served a huge 1 - 1/4" thick big steak ... after I ate it, I was told what it was ... It was quite good. Horse is a very fit animal.

I just watched a video on beef, chicken, and pork slaughter houses ... I will not go into the details, but the meat and packaging/processing factories are absolutely filthy, and the housing of the animals are incredibly unlawfully inhumanely atrocious, with deseased and crippled animals being prepared for human markets !

I you ever visit Montana, never try anything called Rocky Mountain Oysters.

I prefer to buy my horse burgers from my Lidl pony

Actually it was the Tesco burgers which had actually 29% horse meat in them (probably Red Rum) other and they were imported from England. Shergar was actually fed to british troops along with a certain captain.

Hi Everybody.
Just come back into the office after visiting the local supermarket to get something for lunch. While I was in there, an assistant asked me if I'd like to sample their latest
product which was, Chicken.Cocko.Van.

I replied....ehhh.... No thank you.

The whole cattle industry is awful. While out storm-chasing in the Texahoma (Texas-Oklahoma) region, we passed many slaughter houses and stockyards. The odor was disgusting and there was no escape from it. while on a road in the Texas Panhandle, we passed a truck that had dead animals in it. The stench was so bad we were gagging loudly, and couldn't wait until the truck had turned off. The problem is the animals are sadly penned up and are up to their kneecaps in their own feces which of course carries disease. The biggest problem is many of these animals are already quite ill by the time they reach the slaughter houses due to their diets. They are malnurished and very weak so they die off and are left in the pens. Cattle are not supposed to live on grain because they cannot digest it. If they eat too much grain, they end up very sick and malnurished, so to keep them healthy the cattle industry adds antibiotics, growth hormons, steriods, and vitamins mixed in their food. Now the problem isn't just that the animals are sickly, we are now consuming their antibiotics which causes problems for us. These super bugs now that are immune versions of strep, tuberulosis, and other infectious bacterial diseases that were once treatable, but because we've over medicated ourselves plus the food sources, these diseases have built un a resistance to the antibiotics. The steriods and growth hormones cause cancer and other problems in humans including children and young teenagers reaching full puberty at a much younger age. The other issue is there are people with severe antibiotic allergies. For them eating anything, that is not antibiotic free, is deadly. This can happen just by eating out at a restaurant.

Regarding the horse meat. I haven't seen this in years - perhaps not since the mid-1960s when my great grandfather used to eat it. I distinctly remember the strong odd taste to it compared to beef.
