I have just reskinned a train. But for it show up I need to switch meshes. It says-Warning: Progressive meshes are no longer supported by CCP. Though these meshes may work in Trainz, it is recommended that you switch to a LOD mesh. How?

You don't need AssetX, you need PM2IM to convert a PM into an IM. After converting you'll need to open the config.txt in notepad, click FIND ".pm" REPLACE WITH ".im" then REPLACE ALL.

mesh-table
{
default
{
mesh "gp9 high hood undec_body/gp9 high hood undec_body.im"
auto-create 1
}
shadow
{
mesh "gp9 high hood undec_shadow/gp9 high hood undec_shadow.im"
}
}
Copy and paste this into your locomotive or rail car config.txt file. Edit the file to correspond to the file names and path you have if the im file is located in a sub-folder.
While you're downloading the PM2IM, also download Quick Shadow to generate shadows for your content.
And if your not happy with any of these answers there is always the SEARCH function of the forums - you have been around long enough that I think you could use it with out exploding as these topics have been covered many times:hehe:
