Trying to make a tube shaped object, but it's gonna need texture inside. Anyone able to give me a pointer as to how to turn the cylinder faces inside out, seeing as Blender doesnt seem to make tubes with an inner face and an outer face?

I'm confuzzling the heck outta myself, but I'm learning (again)!

You can split the mesh and open it up then apply your texture inside. That's one obvious way.

In top view, Add - Mesh - Cylinder (don't cap ends)
This will now be in edit mode, with everything selected.
Press e select region (make sure you don't move the mouse)
press s then press Shift-z now move your mouse till the tube is the thickness that you want then left click. Voilla

Or,
In top view add-mesh circle
Make sure you are in vertex mode - Ctrl-Tab,1
Then press e
Select only edges
Press s, Shift-z
Move mouse to desired size.
Switch to face mode - Ctrl-Tab,3
Press a
Press e
Select Region
Move mouse till desired height is acheived
