How To Get The Download Stations To Work

There are routes and rolling stock that you could download from other sites if you search hard enough.
It all depends on what you want: i.e. region, country, every one has different tastes.;)
well thanks evre one for the help (please note: im going off line for a wile so dont get to attched) of corse im loging back in to download more stuff lol....eney way if eney one has a PS3 look for me im DRRT4 like this 1 look me up. (allso note: if u do add me on PSN that u might haf to joge my meomery so mechin this forum stuf i might remember lol) mean time downloads are allmost done so i guess this is the last post for me. note: for now.

I would like to ask everyone to refocus on the question (problem). I too am having problems with the Download Station (DLS), through the Content Manager (CM2) and website as well.

I recently purchased Trainz 2009, patched to 40040, and purchased a 1 year First Class Ticket (FCT). After patching, I didn't notice any problems while accessing the DLS through the CM2. However, after I purchased a FCT, I haven't been able to download. When I click on the start button in CM2, I receive a message that states the site is full and to try later. I stopped counting after 50 failed attempts at downloading.

Until I purchased the FCT, I didn't have any problems with downloading through CM2, but when I made the purchase, no service. I initially theorized that a problem may have occured with the servers, overloads and the like. After performing a search, I did not find any thread or post that suggested recent problems with the servers.
So what may be my problem using the DLS function of CM2?

Next, I request assistance with a problem in downloading files from the web-based DLS. When I go to the download cart and press the download button, I receive a popup message stating that Firefox doesn't know what to do/recognize, etc... the command.
So what may be my problem using the web-based DLS?

I'm 13, and I, for one, do not enjoy this type of grammar, or the so-called 'Text speak'. I think this is an awful way to mangle our language, and should be reserved STRICTLY for texting, where if a message is too long it'll cost extra. Please, use proper English and correct (or at least vaguely correct) grammar, and respect the other members of the forum. We are trying to help, but you just aren't listening.:confused:

I know, nobody's prefect, and I had a few teething troubles when I first arrived too :o, but I was never this incorrect in terms of use of the English language. I have never used 'Lol' or 'Roffle' or 'WTF', as I feel these inappropriate for a sensible forum like this, or anywhere really.

Also, 'BECUZ'? :confused: Can't you spell properly? If so, do so.

We are mostly respectable, helpful people on this forum, and we will help where we can, but if you won't listen to us, we won't listen to you.

No problems with the DLS

Remove everything from your download list then remove Password and user name from Content Manager, save exit, start it again, input same user name and password save, hopefully that should trigger it into action.
If it doesn't check your firewall settings are allowing all things Trainz related, the patch will have changed the signatures of the executable files which may be regarded as infected by an over enthusiastic firewall.
If that fails you may need to raise a ticket with the help desk.

Firefox........ Content manager needs to be running, if it can't access the DLS itself then it isn't going to be able to from FF. Probably the same problem as with your FCT if you can get that to work then it should be ok.

Thank you for your input. I followed your instructions and still the same results, no access to the DLS. Firewall is good and my FCT as well. Cheated out of $19.95, maybe.

The advice given to me after I purchased an FCT and still couldn't get the CM2 to work (same error message as you) was to clear the helper and do an extended database repair, then try again. This worked for me, you can try it while waiting for Auran's staffing levels to recuperate...Good Luck.

mmm I had some kind of job from age 9 to now iam 47, i used to mow yards
clean yards up,, wash cars,and other things,,,, but please spell out your words,duh

I have never had any trouble with FCT's, but I did read somewhere on this forum, that if you have got any items waiting to download, from the download cart, it can stop the FCT from working,.. It's worth a try!
 
Thanks to all for the input. I will make a few more attempts before raising a ticket. This will also allow someone from Auran time to recuperate and then take a serious look at the servers/programing.
 
A couple things to try:

1st: I assume you've activated your FCT (if not go to your profile; link above; and do so there; you will have to wait 24hrs for the servers to do a full refresh and reconize you as an FCT user)

2nd: Try logging out and logging back into Planet Auran here on the website (it sounds weird; but I was having trouble and was told to do this and now it works; go figure)

3rd: Can you download via the DLS website (link at top of page)? try both via the Download Helper links and the FTP links.
