Passenger Train Stations

I've managed to download all the interactive passenger train stations available on N3V Game's Download Station. Only problem is I can't a station platform long enough to accommodate a full length long distance Amtrak train. Most of the stations can barley fit four cars and a locomotive much less ten wagons with two or three engines and possibly baggage carriage. Perhaps I'm not looking in the right places. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Lay a replacement platform over the top of the existing platforms adjusting its length and height accordingly, there are dozens of platform splines on the DLS. Peter

I seem to remember back in the day having to board on the platform then walk back several cars.
Those days are still with us. There are several stations here in NSW where the platform is only a single car long and the shortest train is 4 cars long. One such platform is so short that all passengers must enter and leave through a single door on the first car (I got off there once and the only other modes of transport to and from that location are by boat and a hiking track up a mountain - unfortunately I did not have a boat).

The Indian-Pacific passenger train is so long that it occupies the two longest platforms at Sydney's Central station and has to be combined just before departure and separated before arrival.

To anyone unfamiliar, the Illawarra Line (just one example) south from Sydney NSW Australia to Port Kembla, is typical of such platforms where the number of passenger cars exceeds the length of platform(s). For these instances there are lineside indicators to let the driver know where he should stop.

<kuid:664758:102019> Illawarra South Coast NSW Australia by grazlash (for Trainz 2019 & up) is a good example using signs like <kuid2:629836:21014:1> NSW Carriage Marker Post-8V

The route and its sessions are well worth a look.
