how to brake a consist

how do you brake a consist to stop it moving after uncoupling ?,anybody please

Brake first by pressing A key then uncouple.

If you uncouple first and consist begine to move, click on consist then press A key which will stop it. Then click back on loco. Afterthought after 1st posting.

Or you could just plug the entire consist by putting it into emergency, letting it drain for a bit and then uncoupling.
