I've finally gotten transdem What I would like to know is how do I convert .ntf files to .dem so I can use them in transdem?
Ive tried scouring the net but cant find a suitable program. For some reason which I do not understand OS have produced their dem files with the .ntf extension.

Use the ASCII files instead (*.asc).

For instance:
...\OS Open Data\panorama_gb\DTM\ASCII\data\so\so82.asc
