How can I get a layout image into Surveyor to trace?

I spent two days Googling topics and checking YouTube and links to sites etc. to figure out how to get an image of a layout I have into Trainz 22 PE Surveyor to trace. I got nowhere. I then spent three days and too many hours working with ChatGPT to do the same thing. After many many attempts and redirects i achieved nothing. ChatGPT should be a Press Secretary. I should get a trainz Purple heart.

Has anyone done this?

Install the program first and try it. You likely don't need to install the .net files as you might have them already.

Install Basemapz? I forgot to mention above, I was using Basemapz. There was no mention of .net files.
