Hi, how can i add custom content from other sites, without the DLS? Like trainzitalia and other sites? Please help

Use the 'Import CDP' (if it's CDP files) or 'Import Content' (if it is in a folder structure with config.txt file etc) option in the File menu of Content Manager.

Hmm.. Where do i find the content manager and file menu etc? :D I am a bit noob at that stuff like that. I have found a map called "Third-parties-Addons", but nothing more..?

Hi Ronnie,

Easy job. Trainz launcher --> Content --> [After CM3 opens] --> File --> Import cdp or Import content.

Hmm.. Thanks! I found out where.. Im gonna test it know, do i use winzip, and just unzip to a map, then import to content manager? :D

Yes, Ronny. Check if, after extracted, it's a .cdp or a folder.

I'm not very sure I understand what you mean by 'unzip to a map'.

In trainzy terminology a map is a route or layout, and usually maps/routes/layout are distributed in .cdp's.

Of course, CM3 doesn't deal with .zip or .rar files at all. It's very refined and elitist. :hehe: Just cdp's and folders containing a healthy trainz asset with config.txt etc etc etc

CDP - your should be able to just click on then and than that will open CMP and it will then put all the files in the right place.

Alot of operating systems have support for zip files built in as well and just clicking on them will open them as well, plus there is often right click options as well.
