High Speed Rail America Club KickStarter

A group of Florida International University students and myself started a club to promote High Speed Rail Travel in the United States. As many of you know, the US cannot quite compare to several countries internationally when it comes to passenger rail, and we want to help change that.

In order to spread our message across, we are willing to work on a documentary that covers the current state of rail travel and will intend to focus on Amtrak between Miami and Orlando, FL. This is sort of since we have sort of a brainchild to follow, which is All Aboard Florida. While All Aboard Florida will not be able to deliver the speed that the Shinkansen, TGV, or ICE can do, at least relative to Amtrak, which is a six hour ride, the travel time will be cut in half. Hence, it is like a model to follow for the rest of the country.

However, we do not have the money presently to be able to deliver our message the way we would like to. In order to make it possible, we made a Kickstarter campaign. It launched on the Fourth of July and is closing in but has not reached its very "Bare minimum" goal. Keep in mind, this is just for a sort of no-frills documentary. BUT, just like TANE's success, if we reach any of the stretch goals, the product we deliver will significantly improve as we go.

We are looking out to the railroad community for any support that we can get. Also, anyone who pledges minimum $1 USD tomorrow, July 16th will be featured in a graphic in appreciation for their support.
The deadline is August 3.

I have for you guys a video that allows you to know a bit more about us, and alas, the Kickstarter Campaign. Most of the details and additional information can be retrieved in the Kickstarter Campaign Webpage.
